Gate Accessories
Your choice of lighting is very much dictated by personal taste, depending on your preference for Traditional or Modern or perhaps something more eclectic. Lights can be fabricated to resemble a Classic Victorian Lantern Style or for something more contemporary, lighting with LED’s have become popular in recent times. Lighting can either be in an Uplighter style or Lantern style mounted on top of the Brick Piers.
Post Box
There are many Post Box options for you to consider. Whether it through the Railings, through the Gate or standing independently on a Post. These come in many finishes including Black Cast, Verdigris and Stainless Steel or simply painted to co-ordinate with your gates.
Gate Piers
We recommend where possible that the positioning of the Piers aligns the gates to the front door of the house, thus creating a very strong visual impact. We also strongly recommend that the colour of brick used in the building of the Piers matches that of the main colour brick on the house. We endeavour to match all bricks often using reclaims that are laid by our professional bricklayers that result in a fabulous finish.
Pier Caps
Sapphire Gates are keen to maximize the impact of the Piers and to this end recommend either a lantern or a reconstituted pad stone, our particular favourite being the globe.
